974 Bristol 411 Series 4 – Bristol Burgundy | Air Conditioning | Excellent Condition | £49, 995
An exceptional example of the Bristol 411 Series 4, one of the finest expressions of British hand-built grand touring, combining understated design with effortless V8 performance. First registered 31 May 1974 and finished in the elegant and rarely seen Bristol Burgundy with a black leather interior, this car presents in excellent condition throughout and has clearly been cherished. Chassis number 7713425, engine number HC 10319. Powered by the proven Chrysler 6. 6L (400ci) V8, the 411 delivers smooth, torque-rich performance perfectly suited to long-distance touring, paired with the effortless automatic transmission expected of the marque. This particular car benefits from factory-fitted air conditioning, a highly desirable and uncommon option that significantly enhances usability. The condition is described as excellent, with only a few small bubbles noted above one rear wheel and otherwise very well presented bodywork. The interior remains in superb order, trimmed in black leather, maintaining the traditional Bristol balance of craftsmanship and restraint. Mechanically, the car has been maintained with care, including a carburettor overhaul and new brake master cylinder fitted last autumn, and it sits on four new tyres. While there is no formal history file, the car was purchased from the Bristol showroom in Kensington in 2009 and subsequently returned to the Bristol Cars service department under Brian Morelli for the air conditioning installation, reinforcing its provenance and connection to the factory. The 411 Series 4 represents the final evolution of the model, offering improved refinement and drivability while retaining the classic Bristol character. These cars are increasingly recognised for their rarity, engineering integrity, and discreet exclusivity.
