Chairman, Bristol Cars Group Ltd
A working life connected to Bristol, its owners and its cars.
Richard Hackett’s association with Bristol began in the early 1960s, when a family connection to the marque led to his first role at Anthony Crook Motors. He later joined Bristol’s Kensington showroom and spent more than a decade working with the cars, their owners and the people behind the company.
After a period with Maranello Concessionaires, Richard returned to Bristol following the launch of the Fighter. He subsequently established SLJ Hackett to continue supporting Bristol owners and the marque’s specialist community.
As Chairman of Bristol Cars Group Ltd, he now leads the completion of the final Fighter series and the Group’s work to carry Bristol’s engineering heritage into its next chapter.
