Bristol re-launches at Salon Privé.

Bristol Cars marked its eightieth year on 2 September with the public re-launch of the marque at Salon Privé, The Gallery, Blenheim Palace. The completed black Fighter stood in The Gallery alongside a 1946 Bristol 400, the model that began the story, and the concours on 2 and 3 September featured a dedicated class celebrating eighty years of Bristol.

The next phase begins with the final series of the Fighter, completed as the factory intended. The first car is finished and available for sale. Richard Hackett, whose working life has been spent with Bristol and its owners, joins Bristol Cars Group as Chairman.

Bristol Cars was at The Gallery from 2 to 6 September. Viewings of the Fighter are now by appointment. Enquiries: fighters@bristol-cars.co.uk.
